Is it possible to pay the rent in another currency?
In general, it is ideal to pay the rent in that a currency which is set by the landlord (and which you can also see in the My Housing app). But you can pay the rent in whatever currency you need. However, it is necessary to take into account daily exchange rates, which will make it very probable that the system will register an underpayment (the exchange rate valid on the day the payment is sent will be different on the day the payment is credited to our account). For this reason, we recommend sending slightly more money than the system requires - the overpayment will be used for the next rent or the landlord will return it to you.
In case of recalculations, you can orientate according to the exchange ticket available here, the We sale column.
Is it possible to change the due dates of payments?
Due dates are calculated according to the beginning/end of the lease and are in the smooth flow with the obligations, rights, or guarantees that the lease agreement provides to both parties. That's why it is strongly recommended not to change the due dates. However, it is up to you and the agreement with the landlord, whether you negotiate another payment calendar.
Is it possible to divide the rent into more parts?
Currently, we are not able to provide the dividing of the payment into multiple parts. Therefore if the rent is paid by more people, we recommend to collect the entire amount in advance to one bank account and then pay the rent at once.
Is it possible to pay two rentals in advance?
Yes, it is possible to pay even all rentals at once. :-)
Can I pay the rent in cash?
Although there is no significant reason for this, in exceptional cases is possible to pay the rent to the landlord also in cash. But in the case of cash payment, it's necessary to inform the customer support staff either via phone (+420 228 886 510) or via mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) in order to correctly assign the payment.
The cash payment does not apply to the first lease - this must be paid within 24 hours after the reservation request is accepted, so the lease agreement is valid and your housing is certain. Without the first rent and your current rental agreement, the owner does not have to accommodate you.
Can I get an invoice or other proof of payment?
Since the lease agreement is concluded between you and the landlord, only the landlord is the competent person who can give you an invoice (and only if the apartment is rented for profit). Flatio can then only give you a digitally signed proof of payment acceptance.
