Is it possible to add another person/people to the Lease agreement?
Currently, we are not able to add another person/people to the Lease agreement via our system. However, you can cover his/their stay in a rented living by the creation of an amendment to the Lease agreement. So if you need to cover other person's/people's stay, contact your landlord who is able to create this amendment from his Flatio application.
Is it possible to get a physically signed Lease agreement for visa purposes?
Yes, but again it's necessary to contact your (future) landlord, who can print the Lease agreement, physically sign it and send whenever you need it. However, since this is not a standard procedure for Flatio renting process, the landlord can reject this request - in that case, you have to respect his decision.
Is it possible to terminate the signed Lease agreement even before entering the lease?
Yes, of course, it's only necessary to note that there are certain cancellation conditions. Their full wording can be found in the General Terms and Conditions, Article 2.13.
These cancellation conditions vary depending on the moment when you or the landlord announce that you need to cancel the Lease agreement because you are not able to enter the lease at all.
- If the period between this moment and the start date of the Lease agreement is longer than 30 days, you are entitled to 100% of the First rent including the Service fee.
- If the period between this moment and the start date of the Lease agreement is shorter than 29 days but is longer than 14 days, you are entitled to 50% of the First rent including the Service fee.
- If you will cancel the Lease agreement within a period shorter than 13 days before the start of the Lease agreement, the entire First rent will be forfeited to the landlord and the Service fee will be paid to Flatio.
Is it possible to change the data in the signed Lease agreement?
Yes, in exceptional cases, it is possible to change the data even in the signed (and therefore valid) Lease agreement. However, as this is a complex system task, it's necessary to contact our customer support, either via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by phone (+420228886510), who will assist you in this situation.
However, all agreement changes have to be approved by the landlord, and this confirmation has to be substantiated by some kind of proof (for example screenshot of your communication) that we will request from you.
