Yes, in exceptional cases, it is possible to change the data even in the signed (and therefore valid) Lease agreement.
The most common changes in the Lease agreement that our tenants require are the following:
Earlier or later moving into housing
Whether you need to move into a chosen housing sooner or later than the agreed start date of the lease is, it is necessary to register it. Only our customer support can change the Lease agreement start date. However, first it is necessary to handle the changes with your future landlord - we are only able to make these changes based on his agreement. Therefore, before contacting customer support, arrange the landlord's agreement with some kind of proof (for example a print screen of conversation where the landlord has approved these changes).
On the basis of this proof, the existing signature at the current Lease agreement will be removed and the start date of the lease will be changed. Then the system will ask you to re-sign the Lease agreement with an online authorization code just as in the case of the initial signature - after that, the Lease agreement can become valid. If you have paid the first rent, nothing else is needed from your side.
Extension of your stay in rented housing
Just as you can change the date of move-in or out of the lease without major problems, it is also possible to extend the contract. The reasons for extending the stay are different, but the fact is that landlords do not have a problem with extending your stay if the housing is available at the required time.
However, even in this case, it is necessary to discuss it directly with the landlord, who can simply extend the lease directly from his Flatio application without customer support assist.
Other people's residence records
Currently, we are not able to add another person/people to the Lease agreement via our system. However, you can cover his/their stay in a rented living by the creation of an amendment to the Lease agreement. So if you need to cover other person's/people's stay, contact your landlord who is able to create this amendment from his Flatio application.
