When deciding which housing you would like to book, you can take into account existing reviews from the real tenants available in the landlords' profiles, or make your decision according to the presence of a virtual tour that means that the apartment has been personally verified by the Flatio team.
The whole lease is covered by a uniform lease agreement, which is concluded directly between the tenant and the landlord, and is balanced to both sides - there is no advantage to one of the parties.
At Flatio, you do not pay the first rent in advance to the landlord, who then refuses to handover the apartment to you or stops communicating. The first rent is forwarded to the landlord only after confirmation of the non-problematic handover or automatically after 7 days from the beginning of the lease (at that moment we assume that no problem has arisen).
Similarly, in case the apartment does not correspond to the one for which the reservation request was made, you have the possibility to withdraw from the contract with the right to a refund of the entire first rent, including the service fee. More about this topic can be found here.
